Terms and Conditions for SIA Training

These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of Security Industry Authority (SIA) training services (“Services”) by Specialist Security Group (“Training Provider”) to the participant (“Participant”). By enrolling in the SIA training course, the Participant agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Course Registration:

The Participant must complete the designated registration process and provide accurate and complete information.

The Participant must meet all prerequisites and eligibility requirements specified for the chosen SIA training course.

Training Delivery:

The Training Provider will deliver the training in accordance with the SIA syllabus and guidelines.

The Training Provider will allocate qualified trainers with relevant industry experience for the training sessions.

The Training Provider will make reasonable efforts to ensure the training materials and facilities are of a suitable standard.

Participant Responsibilities:

The Participant is responsible for attending and actively participating in all training sessions.

The Participant must comply with all instructions, rules, and regulations provided by the Training Provider during the course.

The Participant is responsible for any additional costs related to transportation, accommodation, or meals associated with the training.

Fees and Payment:

The Participant agrees to pay the training fees as specified by the Training Provider.

Payment terms, including the due date and accepted payment methods, will be outlined by the Training Provider.

Failure to make timely payment may result in the Participant being unable to participate in the training.

Course Completion and Certification:

The Participant must meet the attendance and assessment requirements of the SIA training course to be eligible for certification.

The Training Provider will issue a certificate of completion or qualification upon successful course completion.

The Training Provider will submit relevant information to the SIA or any other relevant authority to facilitate the Participant’s certification process.

Cancellations and Refunds:

The Participant may request to cancel their enrollment in the training course by providing written notice to the Training Provider.

Cancellation and refund policies, including any applicable administrative fees, will be specified by the Training Provider.

The Training Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the training course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the Participant will be offered an alternative training date or a refund of the training fees.

Liability:

The Training Provider shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the Participant during the training course, unless caused by the Training Provider’s negligence or breach of duty.

Confidentiality and Data Protection:

The Training Provider will handle any personal data obtained from the Participant in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.

The Training Provider will maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information shared by the Participant during the training course.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By enrolling in the SIA training course, the Participant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
